Harlem Needle Arts is a cultural arts institute designed to preserve and promote fiber and needle artisans in the African Diaspora and through said artisans introduce the crafts of quilting, knitting, crocheting, spinning, traditional Yoruba art of Adire, batik, fiber fusion and construction to the Harlem community to improve the quality of life for children and adults
Founded in 1989, the Manhattan JCC opened its Harlem location in January 2017. While still developing their programming, Harlem JCC is looking to engage the entire community from children to seniors through fitness classes, special events, educational programs in their 6,000 square foot space – available to rent too.

With a mix of classic favorites and innovative newcomers, food aficionado Joseph Riley Land is putting together the perfect pantry. Coming from a long line of great home cooks, Land learned the art of combining flavors and textures at an early age. He also learned an appreciation of the finest ingredients and developed an impeccable palate that could distinguish the best from the merely good. Currently Riley/Land operates as a pop up store in Harlem inside Astor Row Café (404 Lenox Ave) and run as an e-commerce site (www.riley-land.com).
