Pumpkin House
16 Chittenden Ave

No, it doesn’t look like a jack-o-lantern, but certainly there are tricks AND treats to be had. This private one family home perched on an elevated pier tricks the eye as to how it was constructed in the 1920’s. The treat is the view of it, and surely from it, of the Hudson River. WAHI

Red Lighthouse – Jeffery’s Hook Lighthouse
Fort Washington Park at 178th St
New York
646 864 6426

Dwarfed only by the behemoth George Washington Bridge under which it resides, this is the little red lighthouse that could. Though its lights have dimmed today it serves as a beacon for tourists, pedestrians and cyclists seeking a landmark, meeting point and respite along their travels up and down the Hudson River. WAHI
