10TH ANNUAL AMATEUR NIGHT HOLIDAY SPECIAL

The Apollo Theater lights up the holiday season with the Amateur Night Holiday Special. The tenth annual event under its signature program Amateur Night at the Apollo, showcases the talented young alumni of the show’s “Apollo Stars of Tomorrow” category.12/14

WINTER WONDERLAND FAMILY DISCO!

Celebrate the holidays! Music by: DJSMITHYBOY (the 12 years old sensation!), and introducing the KDR Shuffle!  Kids Dance Revolution, LLC. or (KDR) is themed discotheque-styled experience tailored for 9 months to 7 years old’s with their families.12/15

UPTOWN NIGHTS: BRIANNA THOMAS AND FA-LA-LA-LA FUNK!

Brianna Thomas and her band Fa-La-La-La Funk! will bring the funk to classic holiday tunes we know and love with her blend of jazz, R&B, and gospel. The concert will be peppered with songs from Brianna’s eagerly anticipated sophomore album Everybody Knows. 12/19

UPTOWN DANCE ACADEMY PRESENTS: BLACK NUTCRACKER

Uptown Dance Academy presents the 24th annual Black Nutcracker.  The ballet explores the traditional ballet with use of both Tchaikovsky and Duke Ellington’s score. Utilizing styles of classical ballet, acrobatics and contemporary. 12/19

A CHRISTMAS CAROL IN HARLEM

Set in present-day Harlem, this holiday treasure is dramatized with Classic Theatre of Harlem’s signature style of infusing classic works with an uptown flair. Scrooge foregoes using his wealth to affect positive change within his Harlem community and instead lives a life of miserly solitude. That is, until three unexpected visitors arrive on Christmas Eve to show him that the value of family and the impact of cooperation will lead to a healthy, thriving and prosperous community. KWANZAA CELEBRATION: REGENERATION NIGHT

The Apollo Theater celebrates it’s annual Kwanzaa Celebration featuring the renowned New York-based dance company Abdel Salaam’s Forces of Nature Dance Theatre and guest performances. The Apollo’s celebration is a joyful evening of dance and music honoring the principles of Kwanzaa – family, community, and culture. 12/28
